* Best wishes on your Wedding*

I know I made a promise not to buy any new scrappy stuff and I broke my promise....
I had to have some delicious papers from imaginisce and a nice paper block from Paper Mania.(a style I never use normally, but these are so lovely for romantic cards :) ) and while I was add it I ordered some awesome large brads from American Crafts, a little stamp, some E-line flowers from Prima. Simply love those, all women like flowers :) I made a card with the Paper Mania paper block based on this weeks sketch from CardPatterns. It fitted perfectly for the idea I had in mind already and I love how it turned out. Its for my aunt and uncle who celebrate 35 years of Marriage coming Sunday. I used also the large brad & the new flowers :)
Supplies: white, pink, blue cardstock, Paper Mania papers, E-line flowers, Zva Creative bling swirl, Fiskars border punch apron, Crafts too corner punch, doily lace paper, my own digi stamp.
One more day to work and than it's time off for the long Easter weekend & I am so looking forward to those 4 days off!

* some photo's of Easter coming up *

Yesterday I went to a garden centre and bought some nice spring flowers. Together with some eggs, birds and hew, I created this little something, which is shining on the dinner table now.
I like how it turned out and give some bright colors (spring! YEAH!) in the living. Easter is coming up in 2 weeks and I have a long weekend off. Can't wait...
And some more little deco...
Tomorrow is monday already again. The weekend has flown by.

* Birthday Card & Tag *

Yesterday evening I quickly finished this card based on the latest Card Patterns sketch, a great one to work with and perfectly for my needs. I need to make a quick gifttag for a birthday present of my uncle. I am giving a bottle of wine, so a red card is a great match! Plus some other gifts which will be wrapped and added with this card. (not to happy about this one, but I am in a hurry and have no time to make a new one, so it will have to do)
Supplies: White, red and green cardstock, Jillibean papers, Fiskars borderpunch, McGill punch, EK succes punch, ribbon, button, my own digistamps.

* New Look *

It was about time to change the look of my blog again. Winter is gone (even though we had some snow last monday) and I wanted something more cheerful and with nice bright colors. What do you think?

* With Sympathy *

Yesterday I got me some new font's so I started playing again to make some new texts for cards. One of the results is put on the card below & will be available on my blog next friday as freebie.
The text came in handy when I saw this weeks challenge over at Dutch Card Lovers; a sketch and an extra challenge to use black, white and a color. I had to search long through my stash to find some black and white, since I never scrap with these colors. But I found some left overs from Bo Bunny Alyssia and used the backside :)
The colors IRL are better looking than on the photo. Here the top of the ribbon almost looks black, while its purple/fuchsia. Just as the paper and the color of the calla lily are now not matching. Supplies: white, black, fuchsia cardstock, Bo Bunny Alyssia papers, rusty pickle digistamp, text digistamp by me, ribbon.

I haven't blogged about the books I am reading for quite a while. That doesn't mean I stopped reading, I only stopped writing about it due to lack of time. Mostly I finish 3 to 4 books in a month. Now I am finally ready the new novel of Dan Brown, the lost symbol. I started only few days ago and am already over half way through. Let me tell you, it's hard to put down. A great book!
Enjoy the rest of the sunday!

* cute girlie card *

I made a quick card and finished it in less than an hour (I am a slow scrapper so this is very quick for me!) and I still love the outcome. The card is for the sketch challenge of Card Patterns & for this weeks challenge @ Dutch Card Lovers which is a color combo challenge. Normally I don't to color challenges because I find them too difficult but this one came together very nicely I think :) Supplies: white, blue & pink cardstock, Daisy Bucket patterned papers, Kaisercraft flowers, jewels, Zva Creative swirl, A. Kramer digistamp, Jolanda's text digi stamp.

Unfortunately the weekend is already over ... Have a good week!

* new digi stamp *

At the beginning of this year, I started for only a few weeks with a freebie friday digistamp. Due to lack of time etc, this soon faded away. However, this is a new attempt to get it going again. Klik on the picture to start downloading. Hope you enjoy! Please leave me a message if you take the wordart.

* Happy Birthday card *

I am feeling much better these days, and it seems I have more energy to get back to crafting again. So happy with that, since I really missed playing around with my stuff and creating cards and layouts.
Yesterday evening I finished this card based on this weeks sketch of CPS. I used again some October Afternoon papers - Very Merry. (can you tell I love this brand :) ) No christmas card this time, but a birthday card, which always comes in handy. Supplies: white, green & pink cardstock, October Afternoon Very Merry Patterned papers, Kaisercraft flowers, Zva Creative swirls, jewels, ribbon, white puffy paint, Melissa Frances stamp, Fiskars border punch treading water.

This week also a new order came in with more Zva Bling bling (yummy) and some papers from Imaginisce & yummy Jillibean soup papers. I am off to play with those :)

* New Get Sketchy card *

Since Easter is approaching, it was high time to make some cards. This is the first one and I need to make a couple more, but there is still some time left. The digistamp is from Pollycraft I think and it suited the occasion perfectly, as did the papers from October Afternoon. The yellow ribbon fits perfectly to the yellow of the paper, but on the photo it is not so clear and looks much darker.
I used last weeks sketch of Get Sketchy and turned it to make it fitting for my needs. This week the theme is Spring. Easter to me is one of the first things that indicates that spring is coming, that, and the first snowdrops.

Supplies: white, blue and yellow cardstock, October Afternoon Ducks in a Row patterned papers, digistamp, yellow ribbon, yellow ribbon with dots, white organza ribbon, McGill flower punch, EK Success flower punch, button, My littleshoe box letterstickers.

I am off tomorrow and I am planning to do some cardmaking and scrapbooking after doing the household jobs and grocery shopping. So looking forward to that, since it's long time ago I planned a day/or afternoon for this.

Have a nice weekend!
